Summary: This was 3 days free-time between an 11-day Globus bus tour from Vienna to Lucerne and a 7-day Avalon River cruise from Basil to Amsterdam. We’re so glad we decided to include Zurich and the Locke Am Platz into our plans. Our 3 night stay was excellent. The breakfast was good but lacked choices, our only (minor) complaint. Front staff helped us with every question including coming up with a universal plug that worked (I’d left mine behind at the previous hotel in Lucerne), and a convenient way for us to do our much-needed laundry. We are very appreciative of those 2 things in particular. Zurich was my favourite city of our trip. Loved both the lake and Old Town. We had wonderful meals in Old Town and everything was easy walking from the hotel.

Summary: Although I only stayed for one night it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had at a hotel. The welcome was pleasant and there was a positive, helpful response to the many questions I had. The bedding was a real highlight and I’m making plans to revamp my own at home. I did notice some minor issues from people not taking care and it would be a shame if this was to affect the condition of facilities for future visitors. Everyone was so accommodating, breakfast was so good. I had the tastiest chocolate croissant I’ve had so far in life. Grateful for to 10% discount I received to use towards future bookings as I’m now keen to check out other locations.

Summary: Beautiful hotel, absolutely fantastic customer service. Beds were super comfy, such a cute place! The only drawbacks is it was to hot. No cooling system, and the breakfast isnt worth the price.

Summary: This hotel was more like a 2 star hotel for me. Yes it was clean and the hotel staff was great. Yes it had a restaurant that serve breakfast but the breakfast was not great. Cereal and the additives for the cereals were good but they service only corn flaked and granola no other kind. The hotel does not have A/C and NO TELEHONE🤔. I was shocked. The decor/furniture that it has it’s un real. Very uncomfortable to sit around. For me the rooms were ugly, although the bed wasn’t that bad. The negative about the bed is that the only have queen size and the comforters they have are very heavy to sleet with and having no A/C these are not practical. The location was not that good either. Not walkable to the best parts of Zurich. The cost of everything in Switzerland is high so to action here have 2x more in your budget. I will not stay here again.
